Start & Finish
The start and finish are located 300 m from the hall along the Saar.
From Scharnhorststraße, you can reach the Saar park area through a tunnel after crossing Koßmannstraße.
The 10 km race starts at 10:45 a.m.
Starting groups
lease place yourself in one of the start groups A to K according to your expected finish time.

Please place yourself realistically in the start area. Being in the wrong start group can cause unnecessary overtaking or even congestion. Since net time is measured, starting later will not disadvantage you.
Race Course
You are not alone on the course. The race takes place on public cycling and walking paths that are not closed to traffic. Expect encounters with cyclists and pedestrians. Please be polite and considerate – a good time isn’t everything.

Refreshments
There is one aid station along the course:

5 km (Staatstheater): water
At the finish, you will find water, fruit, salted pastries, and non-alcoholic Bitburger beer.
In the hall, a variety of drinks, cakes, and sandwiches are also available for purchase.
Awards
Every finisher is a winner and receives a beautiful medal.
Further award ceremonies will take place in the St. Arnual multi-purpose hall. Overall winners, as well as age group winners and place-getters, will be honored.
The 10 km race awards ceremony starts at 12:15 p.m.
